Blak Side Story is a multi-media exhibition exploring contemporary Aboriginal Identity and stories from Indigenous community members from Melbourne’s West.
Animated playback of prepared ‘digital quilt’ videos was enabled via a Processing based application we developed for Android Samsung tablets. Frames were designed in Google Sketchup and Inkscape and laser cut by Ponoko.
Presented by Footscray Community Arts Centre in association with Moondani Balluk and Boon Wurrung Cultural Foundation, the exhibition features film and photography produced by local visual media production company Singing Bowl Media.
