M.U.L.E. is a robotic following cart we are building from a mobility scooter base. M.U.L.E. will be fully automated, controlled by an Arduino, using sensors to avoid obstacles.
He has a front sensor at the moment so he can approach objects, and back up when he is too close. This is mainly to test our control over the heavy duty motors and control systems.
Next up: Rear and side sensors and steering/following functionality.
